Happy New Year !
I've been having a lot o fun - over the holidays, spending time with my girls and visiting family.
Played some shows with Miss Ronnie Spector. She rocked SRO houses wherever we performed. Jeremy Chatzky from Bruce Springsteen's Seeger Sessions Band played bass on a few shows and Tono Tino also played Bass (Gavin Magraw,Clay Akin and Southside Johnny's band). Great, great, great....
Ronnie will perform at the induction ceremony on March 11th followed by i'm sure a few performances in the NY area.

In January 2007, I went to Aneheim, California to the NAMM show. It was like a musicstore on steroids!
I had a great time seeing old friends from Smith Drums (Joe & Warren), Unigrip (Rob), Rhythm Tech( Ritchie "Mashugana" Tannenbaum)- and new friends Geoff and Tim from TRUTH DRUMS,Trick Drums and Pedals, Daniel Kushner from Monocases, Nick and Carol from Regal Tip, Scott and Herman from Alechemy/Istanbul Agop Cymbals. I had the pleasure to meet Paul Wertico (great drummer and great guy), The legendary Louie Belson, Richie Hayward and his son,Alan White (from Yes),The great Mark Hitt, Scott Amendola, Stanley Clarke, Mike Berg from Humes and Berg Case co.,Marcus Miller. Lots of fun- check the photos page for NAMM highlights.
Get ready for some Josh Fix lives shows in San Francisco, NYC and L.A...it's going to be EPIC!

AUGUST 2006

FAMILY MEDICAL EMERGENCY FORCES RONNIE SPECTOR TO POSTPONE HER EUROPEAN TOUR
A family medical emergency has forced legendary rock singer Ronnie Spector to cancel a European tour scheduled to begin on July 8, 2006.

The tour, covering nine countries including the UK, was in support of Ronnie's new album The Last Of The Rock Stars, featuring performances by the Raveonettes, Keith Richards, Patti Smith, and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's Nick Zinner.

A few days prior to Ronnie's scheduled departure, Jonathan Greenfield -- her husband and manager of 25 years -- was rushed to a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts for emergency surgery. The July 4 operation was successful, but Jonathan remains in the hospital for further treatment and observation.

Ronnie Spector has issued the following statement:

"This tour meant so much to me that nothing less than a crisis would have prevented me from performing. But at this critical time, I needed to be with my husband and my children. Jonathan and I hope to reschedule as many of these dates as we can, as soon as possible. For now, we thank everyone for their understanding and support."
